Job Description

The Game Design Lead (MEP) at Amanotes will contribute to the entire lifecycle of new music game projects, aiming to create chart-topping hits. Responsibilities include market research, leveraging player data and feedback for improvements, translating design concepts into high-quality game execution, leading brainstorming sessions, and ensuring a high-performing team delivers engaging experiences. The ideal candidate possesses at least 4 years of senior-level game design experience, expertise in core gameplay loops and monetization strategies across various models (ads, in-app purchases, hybrid), and ideally, experience with music games and transitioning from hyper-casual to hybrid models.

Must have:

4+ years senior game design experience
Core loop & monetization design expertise
Experience with music games (preferred)
Lead and deliver engaging game experiences

Good to have:

Hyper-casual to hybrid transition experience

Job Details

OBJECTIVES YOU NEED TO GET WITH THIS JOB

Contribute effectively in new projects throughout their life cycle, to create new hit music games

RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively explore the mobile game market as well as utilize player behavior data, feedback & suggest improvements to create new and unique music games.
Translate ideas, design concepts into high quality game execution.
Brainstorm & consolidate ideas from team members to propose design solutions.
Take a lead in high performance team to ensure you will deliver the game that make user love

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 4 years of experience as a game designer at Senior level
Proven experience in game design, core loop and monetization design for multiple revenue models (ads, in-app purchases and hybrid)
Working experience in music games is a strong plus.
Proven from transition one Hyper to Hybrid is a strong plus
