Game Developer

Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in the creation of technical designs and architecture for the game and its individual features.
- Proactively ensure top-notch code quality throughout the development process.
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize game and engine systems using C++ and C#.
- Identify risks and opportunities during development and provide solutions to resolve potentially complex problems.
- Develop debug tools and engine pipeline tools to enhance the development process.
- Refactor and optimize existing systems for improved performance and efficiency.
- Utilize strong debugging and problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
- Understand and apply multi-threaded principles in game development.
- Collaborate efficiently with a large existing codebase and contribute to its enhancement.
- Demonstrate proficiency in low-level system architecture and software development environments/tools such as Visual Studio, Perforce,and JIRA.
- Produce thorough reports and documentation related to technical design and development processes.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and maintain a positive attitude within the team environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in C++ and C#.
- Experience with any commercial game engine such as Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, or CryEngine.
- Familiarity with Animation, Physics, Gameplay, Engine, OpenGL, DirectX, or similar technologies.
- Proficient in refactoring and optimizing existing systems.
- Understanding of multi-threaded principles.
- Ability to work efficiently with a large, existing codebase.
- Knowledge of low-level system architecture.
- Proficiency in software development environments and associated tools (e.g., Visual Studio,Perforce, JIRA).
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Capacity to work autonomously and within a team, demonstrating initiative and effective communication.
- 2-5 years of game development experience.
- Master's, Bachelor's, or equivalent degree in computer science or engineering (desirable).
- Knowledge of video game development and game engines.
- Experience with Unreal Engine programming would be a plus.
- Previous work on game consoles or iOS/Android platforms.
- Passion for gaming

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
