Responsibilities:

1.Take charge of planning and executing substantial M&A transactions and strategic partnerships, focusing on strategic investments to support Tencent Games' long-term growth within the gaming industry. You'll be at the forefront of identifying, negotiating, and finalising buy-side deals, creating strategic sales, and forging technical alliances with leading entities in the gaming sector.. 2.Utilise and broaden your extensive network of key technical and business contacts within gaming and digital entertainment. Cultivate senior-level relationships to streamline strategic initiatives and secure pivotal deals, leveraging these connections for insight, opportunity, and strategic advantage.. 3.Lead the charge in integrating new technologies and business models to cement Tencent Games' position as a leader in digital entertainment. Post-acquisition, you will oversee PMI processes, ensuring smooth transitions, cultural alignment, and the realisation of targeted synergies, thereby securing the strategic value of new partnerships and acquisitions.. 4.Keep a pulse on the gaming industry's evolving landscape, identifying emerging trends, potential threats, and unique opportunities. Your insights will inform strategic direction and investment priorities, ensuring Tencent Games remains at the industry's cutting edge..

Requirements:

1.At least 10 years of experience leading complex M&A deals, strategic partnerships, and business development within the gaming or digital entertainment sectors. Your track record should highlight successful deal closures and the strategic integration of acquired entities.. 2.A robust understanding of the dynamics, challenges, and growth opportunities within the gaming and digital entertainment industries. This includes market trends, consumer behavior, and technological advancements, enabling strategic foresight and informed decision-making.. 3.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a network of industry influencers, leveraging these relationships for strategic insights, deal sourcing, and collaboration opportunities. Your networking skills should span senior technical leaders, senior business executives, and key stakeholders across the industry.. 4.A strong preference for candidates with significant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategic consulting, especially those with direct engagement in gaming and the broader interactive entertainment and technology sectors. . 5.Experience in roles that have sharpened your strategic and operational capabilities in deal-making, preferably within startup ecosystems or leading gaming corporations is essential. . 6.A genuine passion for video games and digital entertainment, demonstrating an alignment with Tencent Games' core values and culture. Your enthusiasm should translate into a keen understanding of industry trends, player communities, and technological innovations.. 7.Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Chinese highly beneficial for engaging with global teams and stakeholders.
