Job Description

Join Luxoft's Bucharest Development Center as an Intermediate Programming Hero (Dual-Mode) and work on projects for renowned clients. Responsibilities include translating bank strategy into implementation plans, managing computer operations and production support, ensuring systems performance, managing relationships with IT providers, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. You'll provide technical expertise, coach junior engineers, and participate in continuous development initiatives. The role requires advanced skills in Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, REST APIs, responsive design (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Bootstrap), frontend testing, and WCAG 2 AA compliance. Experience with Nx mono repositories is a plus.

Must have:

3+ years experience with Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, and REST APIs
Responsive design expertise (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Bootstrap)
Advanced frontend testing (Karma/Jasmine or Jest)
WCAG 2 AA Compliance knowledge
Excellent communication & analytical skills
Experience coaching junior engineers

Good to have:

Advanced NodeJS and REST Services knowledge
German fluency
Experience with Nx mono repository toolset

Responsibilities

Partnering with key internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into objectives

and plans for implementation supporting the delivery of world class technology

solutions

Planning and managing computer operations and production support, systems and

database administration, network operations, and client service

Ensuring systems performance and service level requirements are met

Managing and maintaining strategic relationships with key IT product and services

providers

Transferring business requirements into technical solutions or into Release

Management

Providing in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives

Skills

Must have

3+ years of professional experience and expert knowledge (also practical) in the area of Single Page Applications with Angular, RxJS and TypeScript in combination with REST based APIs.

Several years of professional experience and expert knowledge (also practical) with regards to responsive design focused around HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS (especially Bootstrap 4+).

Advanced knowledge and practical experience in Frontend testing using Karma/Jasmine or Jest

Advanced knowledge within the framework of WCAG 2 AA Compliance

(Accessibility).

Hands on Experience in the Nx mono repository toolset and is a plus

Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.

Experience in technical and methodological coaching of junior UI/UX Engineers, and active participation in the continuous development of colleagues.

A passion for constantly learning and applying new technologies and programming languages in a constantly evolving web environment.

Nice to have

Advanced knowledge of NodeJS, REST Services

Fluent in spoken and written with German is a plus
