Job Description

This is a UI Software Engineer position requiring collaboration with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to develop and implement user interface components. The role focuses on creating an interactive, coherent, and visually appealing UI/UX for a mission-focused enterprise web application. Responsibilities include developing UI using Javascript, HTML, and CSS, working with the React framework, Webpack, and UI testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme. Experience with CI/CD principles and Git is essential. The position offers 16 hours/week of telework.

Must have:

Linux CLI experience
Bash/Python scripting
UI development (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
React framework experience
Webpack
UI testing (Jest, Enzyme)
CI/CD & Git

Good to have:

Docker
508 Compliance
Selenium

Description

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

SWE-2 Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Description:

This is a UI Software Engineer position. The UI Software Engineer shall be responsible for collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to develop and implement user interface components to provide an interactive, coherent, and visually appealing UI user experience for a mission-focused enterprise web application.

Position Required Skills:

Experience using the Linux CLI
Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
Experience developing UI using Javascript, HTML and CSS
Experience with the React Javascript framework
Experience with Webpack Module Bundler
Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
Experience using Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills:

Experience with container technologies such as Docker
Experience with 508 Compliance
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium
Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

Telework Available: 16 hours/week
