CD PROJEKT RED seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead and mentor a high-performing team, shaping the technological backbone of their North American operations. Responsibilities include defining and implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals, managing IT resources and budgets, collaborating with other departments, overseeing system maintenance and security, monitoring performance, supporting IT projects, staying updated on emerging technologies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, software management, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of video game development processes and relevant technology stacks (e.g., Perforce) is also required. The role requires working in Boston, in a hybrid or full-time capacity.

Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the technological backbone of our operations, ensuring that our IT infrastructure and services meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. Your expertise in IT management, coupled with a deep understanding of the gaming industry, will play a key role in supporting our creative teams and ambitious projects.

As part of our organization, you will lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, collaborating with international stakeholders to align our North American operations with our headquarters in Poland. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver groundbreaking games, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our IT strategies and processes.

Daily responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals to support organizational growth.
  • Manage and develop IT teams to deliver effective, scalable technology solutions across the organization.
  • Supervise the allocation of resources and budgets to optimize cost-efficiency and achieve key objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT initiatives support broader business strategies and operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure, including vendor management.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
  • Support the delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to recommend improvements to current IT processes.
  • Identify potential risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations and security requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Solid technical expertise in IT infrastructure, software management, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with online services, including systems that support digital products or similar domains.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile task and project management methodologies.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of the video game development process and relevant technology stacks (e.g., Perforce).

Additional Information

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
