Job Description
ZURU Tech is digitalizing the construction process globally, developing the ZURUHome app for designing and manufacturing buildings. The React JS Developer will contribute to front-end web application development, handle production incidents, mentor juniors, work with customers for smooth user experience, build reusable components, and translate designs into high-quality code.
Must have:
- Contribute to front-end development of web applications
- Able to handle production incidents
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and object model
- Extensive experience in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with React.js workflows like Flux or Redux
- Familiarity with newer EcmaScript specifications
- Experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them
- Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git, SVN, Mercurial
- Working knowledge of AZURE, AWS, or Google cloud servers
- Hands-on experience on real-time databases like Firebase
- Experience in developing applications with cross-browser compatibility
- Must be able to adhere to launch deadlines
- Must have experience in performance tuning
Good to have:
- Additional knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS
- Additional knowledge of CSS pre-processors LESS or SASS
- Working knowledge of UX tools like PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Good team player
- Good communication skills

What are you Going to do?
- Contribute to front-end development of web applications
- Able to handle production incidents
- Should be able to mentor/guide juniors if required
- Working closely with customers to ensure a smooth user experience
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
What are we Looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in front-end web development is required
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Extensive experience in working with HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
- Working knowledge of AZURE or AWS or Google cloud servers.
- Hands on experience on real time databases (such as Firebase)
- Experience in developing an application with cross-browser compatibility in IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Including Tablets, Phones, etc.
- Good team player
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to adhere to launch deadlines
- Working knowledge of UX tools like PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Must have experience in performance tuning
- Additional knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS and CSS pre-processors LESS or SASS would be an added advantage
