Summary

This role is for a Senior Java Software Developer at one of the largest banks in Singapore. The primary responsibility is to help the bank implement new technologies and accelerate delivery across various projects. Responsibilities include developing solutions using established standards and processes, assessing the impact of requirement changes on technical design, performing code reviews and unit testing, writing efficient and testable code, and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders (clients, project managers, business analysts, and other teams). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microservices development using Spring Boot and a strong understanding of related technologies.

Must have:

6+ years Micro-services development using Spring Boot
Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs
Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket or Git, CI/CD (Maven, Git, Jenkins)
Code reviews, Unit testing
Interact with stakeholders

Good to have:

JavaScript, React JS, Angular, CSS/SCSS, HTML5, Nodejs
Event-driven architectures (CQRS and SAGA patterns)
Build tools (Gulp, webpack), Docker, Automation, Bash, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kibana

Project description

For one of the largest banks we are looking for Senior Team member to help the bank to implement new technologies and speed up the delivery on various projects.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects

Assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.

Perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project.

Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code

Interact with other stakeholders not limited to end-user clients, Project Manager/Scrum master, Business Analysts, offshore development, testing and other cross-functional teams.

Skills

Must have

6+ years of experience in Micro-services development using Spring boot

Technical Stack (Back End): Core Java, Java , Spring boot, Kafka, REST APIs,

Technical Tools: Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket or Git, CI / CD (Maven, Git, Jenkins), Eclipse or Intelij IDEA

Nice to have

Technical Stack (UI): JavaScript, React JS, Angular , CSS/SCSS, HTML5, Nodejs, Git,

Experience in event driven architectures (CQRS and SAGA patterns).

Build Tools (Gulp, and webpack), Jenkins, Docker, Automation, Bash, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kibana

Experience in Agile (Scrum) project an added plus
