Lead FX Artist – Stylised Series

This role involves planning and managing FX tasks for a stylised animated series. The Lead FX Artist will break down and prioritize work, assign, brief, and review FX work using Houdini and related tools, ensuring consistency with creative vision and technical requirements. Collaboration with supervisors, production, and other departments is key, along with monitoring project progress and proactively solving issues. The artist will also provide feedback, support, and motivation to the team, and document/communicate key updates. This position requires proven experience as a Lead or Senior FX Artist with strong knowledge of stylised FX workflows, particularly in Houdini, and confident communication, mentoring, and planning skills. Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Maya, Nuke, and FX production pipelines is essential, as is the ability to estimate effort and structure tasks efficiently.
