Lead Java Engineer with Data Analysis/Engineer Experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of shared domain services platform
• Lead and perform data analysis for data and data sources 
• Establish and support data quality practices in engineering for the platform
• Help BAs and Product manager with analysis of requirements, data source integrations, and scope planning.
• Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
• Ensure consistency of design and technology approaches across development team
• Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
• Provide system or technical development expertise to the team
• Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders
• Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product and tackle technical debt

Requirements: 

• 7+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of extensive Java development
• 2+ years of data engineering/analysis experience
• Understanding and experience developing and deploying microservices
• Experience with Kafka messaging
• Experience with REST paradigm and respective description standards/tools (OpenAPI, Swagger etc)
• Excellent design, coding, and debugging skills
• OOP, OOD, Design Patterns proficient
• Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, MSK, Aurora)
• Excellent communication and organization skills, product-oriented mindset, focus on team results, willingness to constant personal and team improvements
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Ukrainian language - advanced or higher
