Job Description

This entry-level role at Intel involves developing advanced manufacturing processes, optimizing factory layouts, and customizing machinery for cutting-edge production. The successful candidate will apply their PhD in a STEM field to influence production performance and evolve Intel's manufacturing capabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring high standards and top performance in manufacturing facilities, contributing to the creation of new technologies, and improving the lives of people globally. The role requires a strong understanding of semiconductor equipment, fabrication processes, statistics, data analytics, and failure analysis. The ideal candidate will also possess skills in semiconductor fabrication, manufacturing process control, semiconductor device physics, and manufacturing quality assurance.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Education:Candidate must possess a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 6+ months of educational or industry experience.

Additional Information:

This application is for a 2025 start date.  You must be available to start work during this time frame.
