Azercell, Azerbaijan's leading telecommunications company, seeks a part-time Middle PL/SQL Quality Engineer. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, test case creation, test execution of PL/SQL procedures, bug reporting, debugging, and test estimation. The role requires 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and proficiency in various testing phases (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end). Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira) and databases (SQL, NoSQL) is essential. PL/SQL testing experience is a must. The position offers flexible work arrangements (remote, office, or hybrid) and a competitive compensation package.

About the project:
Azercell is an Azerbaijani telecommunications company, largest mobile network operator in Azerbaijan with the most significant 49% market share and 5.0 million customers, and the second-largest taxpayer in the country outside of the oil industry. Main products are: Fixed telephony, Mobile telephony, Internet services, Wireless broadband, Value-added services. Project: BSS transformation/Inhouse telecom applications development
Responsibilities:
- Work on requirements analysis, test cases, and checklists
- Perform test execution of applications (PL/SQL procedures)
- Report bugs
- Debugging
- Estimate test activities
- Follow Agile principles
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial experience as a Quality Engineer in testing (specify web, mobile, etc.)
- Understanding of SDLC
- Familiar with the Agile environment
- Knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end
- Skilled in writing test cases and other test documentation
- Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira, and/or similar bug-tracking tools
- Familiar with DBs: both SQL and no-SQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc)
- PL/SQL testing experience
- Intermediate level of English
