Job Description

The Music Instrument Technician will manage musical instruments during preparation, maintenance, rehearsals, performances, and post-performance. This involves managing batteries/percussions, controlling, adjusting, and maintaining these instruments (changing skins and tuning acoustic drums, programming electronic drums). They will also manage string instruments, ensuring control, adjustment, maintenance, and tuning. Additionally, the technician will manage pianos/keyboards and wind instruments, including control, adjustment, and maintenance. The role requires solid knowledge of computer music/electronics and proficiency in programming music software and peripherals. The technician must provide presence and assistance to musicians during important moments (sound check, rehearsals, arrivals, performances).
Must have:
  • Audiovisual and/or musical training
  • Mastery of the preparation and maintenance of different types of instruments
  • Understanding of audio fundamentals applied to music
  • 2 years of professional experience in live performance ideally
  • Ability to work in accordance with operational procedures and safety rules
Good to have:
  • Solid knowledge of computer music/electronics
  • Proficiency in programming music software and peripherals
  • Good English skills

A Disneyland Paris, la magie ne s’arrête jamais ! Nous sommes ouverts tous les jours de l’année, vous serez amenés à travailler les jours de la semaine, les weekends, les jours fériés et certaines nuits.

 

Quel est votre rôle ?

 

Sous la responsabilité et conformément aux directives du Management, vous assurer la gestion des instruments de musiques en phase de préparation, maintenance, répétition, spectacle et post spectacle.

 

·       Assurer la gestion des batteries/percussions ainsi que les contrôles, réglages et maintenances de ces instruments (changement de peaux et accordage batteries acoustiques, programmations batterie électronique) 

·       Assurer la gestion des instruments à cordes ainsi que le contrôle, réglage, maintenance et accordage.

·       Assurer la gestion des pianos/claviers ainsi que le contrôle, réglage et maintenance.

·       Assurer la gestion des instruments à vents ainsi que le contrôle, réglage et maintenance.

·       Vous possédez de solides connaissances en informatique musicale/électronique et maitrisez la programmation de logiciels et périphériques musicaux.

·       Vous assurez une présence et assistance durant les moments importants auprès des musiciens (Sound check, répétitions, arrivées, spectacles…)

 

Qui êtes-vous ?

 

·       De formation audiovisuel et/ou musicale, vous maitrisez la préparation et la maintenance de différents types d’instruments.

·       La maitrise les fondamentaux de l’audio appliqués à la musique

·       Vous possédez une idéalement une expérience professionnelle de 2 ans dans le milieu du spectacle vivant.

·       Votre priorité est de travailler dans le respect des procédures opérationnelles et des règles de sécurité.

·       Vous êtes une personne autonome, polyvalente et passionnée par votre métier.

·       Vous avez des solides bases en anglais car vous serez amené à communiquer avec des artistes anglophones au quotidien.

·       Permis B obligatoire (de plus de 2 ans recommandé) pour vos déplacements en coulisses (ou « backstage »).
