Are you eager to make your dream game? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Principal Technical Artist to join our new team. You will help other artists with getting their art into the Unreal engine, optimize assets for memory usage and frame rate, participate in design discussions and provide feedback.


What you’ll get to do:

  • Implement Unreal shaders
  • Integrate art assets into Unreal engine
  • Optimize assets for memory usage and frame rate
  • Help with SFX, lighting, animation and sound when needed
  • Play test the game and provide feedback

Requirements:

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated past experience in shipping AAA online games.
  • Minimum 2 years of Unreal Engine experience
  • Strong technical understanding of how game engines work.

Pluses:

  • Experience with free to play game
  • Experience in Game As A Service
  • Programming skills with at least one language

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $135,600 to $283,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
