Job Summary
Job Description
As a Product Design Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the innovative design of electronics, balancing comfort, performance, and aesthetics. You will collaborate with a team to develop harmonious designs, create prototypes, and work towards scaling these prototypes. Responsibilities vary by project but may include various aspects of product design, thermal analysis, and 3D CAD modeling. The internship is based in Taipei, Taiwan, and requires proficiency in product design and relevant software. Experience with CFD modeling and programming languages is preferred.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Product design experience
- 3D CAD tool proficiency
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Prototype creation and scaling
Good to have:
- Master's degree
- CFD modeling software (Flotherm, Icepak)
- Labview, MATLAB, Monte-Carlo simulation
- Thermal modeling & testing
- Knowledge of system integration & electrical engineering

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design or a related technical field.
- Internship, work, educational, or personal project experience with product design, thermal or experience with using any of 3D CAD tools (e.g., PTC Creo, NX, Solidworks).
Preferred qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's or above degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design or a related technical field.
- Experience in utilizing either Flotherm, Icepak or other CFD modeling software.
- Experience in utilizing Labview, MATLAB programming and statistical methodologies such as Monte-Carlo* simulation.
- Experience in thermal modeling and testing of air and liquid cooling systems.
- Knowledge of system integration of complex consumer hardware, fundamental electrical engineering principles or semiconductor.
