Rockstar Games is looking for a Production Coordinator to join their Art Production team. This role involves improving communication between Art, Code, and Design teams. Responsibilities include providing production support, identifying and resolving issues, preparing reports, and managing asset flow. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, SQL, and project management tools. The role is based in Oakville, Ontario. Candidates should be solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must have:
  • Degree/diploma or 1+ year experience in QA/Production.
  • Strong Power BI (or similar) skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Python, Shotgrid, Snowflake, and SQL.
  • Great interpersonal and team work skills.
  • Willingness to be involved in all aspects of the development process.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent and confident communicator.
  • Eagerness to learn new workflows and software tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Good to have:
  • Passionate about storytelling with data.
  • Production experience in game, entertainment, tech, or creative industry.
  • Experience contributing to project plan and schedule maintenance.
  • Experience hosting meetings, presentations, and workshops.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for video games.

Rockstar Toronto is on the lookout for a Production Coordinator to join our Art Production team and assist in making some of the most highly respected and widely recognised AAA titles in video games.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Oakville, ON. 

WHAT WE DO

  • Production Coordinators work to improve global communication between various disciplines of Art, Code and Design to ensure there is a clear workflow, with transparency of moving parts, to our fellow developers.
  • We collaborate with Artists, Leads and Directors to schedule, track and complete team goals.
  • We proactively use knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect our development teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide production support to the Art team.
  • Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
  • Support the Design, Delivery and Maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
  • Use SQL and Snowflake to feed data into our reporting systems.
  • Prepare effective production reports.
  • Create and maintain effective documentation.
  • Understand the needs and workflows of the Art team and connected teams, proactively helping to streamline our project management processes.
  • Help manage the flow of assets and information between disciplines and team members.
  • Maintain an active awareness of team goals and timelines.
  • Assign, prioritise, and track tasks using our in-house project management tools.
  • Assist in tracking and scheduling tasks.
  • Assist development teams in identifying and resolving issues preventing progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree / diploma in a related discipline, or 1+ year experience working within QA or Production.
  • Strong Power Bi (or similar) skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Python, Shotgrid, Snowflake and SQL.
