Job Description

The Senior Associate, Digital Activation, will manage and optimize digital campaigns, including paid social, programmatic, and video platforms. They will develop digital recommendations, manage media campaigns, and provide strategic insights for client reports. Responsibilities also include coordinating campaign initiatives, working with internal teams and clients, and evaluating vendor proposals. They will also build relationships in the display and emerging media community and serve as a point of contact for problem escalation, demonstrating exceptional client interaction skills.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of digital activation experience.
  • Experience executing and optimizing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with Paid Social execution.
Good to have:
  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and understanding of the digital media landscape.

Job Details

The Senior Associate, Digital Activation is the day‐to‐day steward on the business and is on the front lines of developing and activating both tactical and custom digital recommendations to meet our clients’ goals. They are a Digital native, curious about unique emerging opportunities and prepared to provide a point‐of‐view, recommendation, and optimization recommendations based on campaign performance. They are the primary contributor to the planning process (inclusive of partner evaluation, negotiation, reporting, optimization, insight generation, billing, etc.), while also being a key touchpoint to internal agency stakeholders and day-to-day management for our client. 


You Will:

  • Coordinate and oversee the management, trafficking, optimization and reporting of paid social and digital campaign initiatives.
  • Manage media campaigns from end-to-end, including working with other internal teams, measurement partners, and clients to secure deliverables.
  • Integrate with neighboring disciplines (Creative, Marketing Science, Strategy) to develop cohesive paid media strategy and targeting approach by respective campaign objective. 
  • Manage the billing team and provide final approval on all billing needs
  • Provide strategic insights and optimizations for all client reports
  • Prepare new information for paid tactical media plans, evaluate vendor proposals, and present channel strategy to clients.
  • Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the display and emerging media community.
  • Lead the development of “Point of View” (POV) documents on industry trends or new, innovative opportunities.
  • Responsible for relationship with third-party vendors – i.e. keeping up to date on all offerings and facilitating meetings across the vendor, client and media teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for problem escalation; demonstrate exceptional client interaction skills.

You Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital activation, executing and optimizing campaigns across paid social, programmatic, search, and video platforms with a focus on data-driven results.
  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on-keyboard experience with Paid Social execution (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and understanding of the digital media landscape.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and campaign optimizations across channels and audiences. 
  • Proficient in research, audience planning, and developing social media plans (platform, tactic, audience, creative).
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to client leadership.
  • Execute and oversee media trafficking for digital advertising campaigns, ensuring accurate setup, scheduling, and delivery across various ad platforms
  • Work closely with media planners, creative teams, and vendors to traffic assets and implement tracking pixels and tags (i.e. DCM/CM360, Flashtalking, etc.).
  • Proficient in reporting and analytics, including crafting insights and optimizations for weekly pacing, monthly reports, and post-campaign wrap reports.
  • Familiar with media industry tools, such as MediaOcean (Prisma), IAS or DoubleVerify, MRI, Comscore, or similar.
