Job Description

The Research Manager will be responsible for various tasks related to finance, business development, and customer services. This includes preparing project quotations, assisting with procurement and contracts, designing project proposals, maintaining client relationships, and seeking new clients. The role also involves supervising key tasks in the research department such as research design, data analysis, and presenting findings. The manager will act as a liaison between clients and functional departments, monitor project implementation, develop research packages, establish research channels, and train the research team. Additionally, the manager will produce PR articles and mentor subordinate staff. Key challenges include achieving high client satisfaction, building a capable research team, and continuously updating market knowledge, specifically in areas like automotive, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.

  • Clear communication in both written and spoken Vietnamese and English.

Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION: Finance: Prepare project quotations based on client requirements. Assist the Accounting department as needed in procurement procedures and contracts. Business Development & Customer Services: Design project proposals for bidding. Receive client requests and communicate them to relevant functional departments for execution. Maintain relationships with current clients and seek new clientele. Main Duties & Functions: Seek, build, maintain, and develop effective relationships with existing and potential clients to achieve company revenue goals. Supervise and be responsible for key tasks in the research department such as research design, preparation of necessary project implementation documents, data analysis for reporting, presentation of report findings to clients, etc. Act as a liaison for conveying project information and requirements to all relevant functional departments. Monitor, support, and coordinate with functional departments in project implementation to ensure adherence to company standards and client requirements. Develop research and consulting packages to meet client demands in key market research areas such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, banking, finance, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and other consumer goods. Establish research channels and identify suitable research methods and techniques for different market research fields to optimize costs while maintaining research quality. Train and develop the researcher team to have sufficient capabilities to carry out projects in key market research areas. Produce PR articles in assigned research areas. Training & Development: Provide training and mentoring in professional expertise to subordinate staff in the research department. Participate in advanced training courses in professional knowledge, management skills, and soft skills organized by the company. Major Challengers: Achieve high client satisfaction with the company's market research activities. Build and develop a capable researcher team for the company's future projects. Accumulate professional knowledge in market research and marketing fields. Continuously update knowledge about the market, especially in key market research areas of the company such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, banking, finance, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and other consumer goods. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Knowledge of statistics, market research methodologies. Understanding of various industries, especially automotive, pharmaceuticals, banking, finance, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and other consumer goods. Skills: Intermediate-level management skills. Clear, articulate communication in both written and spoken Vietnamese and English. Ability to read, understand, analyze data, and relate it to the market for actionable insights. Time management, planning, and organization skills. Proficiency in English language skills equivalent to IELTS 7.0 in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Attitude & Character: Strong logical thinking skills. Objective and honest, especially in handling and evaluating data. High sense of responsibility and reliability. Curiosity, continuous learning mindset to improve knowledge and skills. Prefer male candidate.
