Job Description

The Senior Account Manager at Coda will be responsible for managing key accounts within the gaming industry, focusing on driving sales, devising strategies, and implementing product solutions. The role involves collaborating with various teams like product, technical, finance, and marketing to ensure successful partnerships. The Senior Account Manager will also work on facilitating go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns aimed at driving revenue and acquiring new users. This role is critical to Coda's success and requires a proactive approach to managing key accounts and shaping the team's future growth. They will play a vital role in the Commercial Team and will be expected to ensure the success of Coda by committing to the success of their partners. This includes leading the development and growth of global Publishing, Payment and Distribution Partnerships.
Must have:
  • 3+ years in sales or account management.
  • Background in mobile gaming, preferably operation and publishing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Commercial Team at Coda

The mission of Coda’s Commercial Team is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners.  The Commercial Team achieves this mission by leading the development and growth of global Publishing Partnerships (deployment of situationally dependent monetization solutions to expand revenue and margin for Coda’s gaming and creator partners), Payment Partnerships (execution and management of payment channel relationships that provide access to both payment methods and promotional reach), and Distribution Partnerships (execution of partnerships that expand the reach of distribution,  monetization and promotional efforts conducted on behalf of gaming and creator partners).

About This Role The Commercial Team is vital to Coda. The book of business within the segment includes key accounts like Tencent, NetEase, HoYoverse, Moonton, Funplus, 4399,  etc. This team is expected by many as the next key breakthrough function within the company. The Senior Account Manager will lead efforts to manage key accounts within this segment and shape the team's future growth by devising strategies, implementing product solutions, and facilitating marketing support.

Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate growth on driving sales of book of Digital content business at Coda
    • Take ownership of managing key accounts in the gaming industry vertical
    • Help drive key strategies to resolve any blockers or strategies that the supply team might or have run into and support relevant functions to make the changes happen
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments such as product, technical, finance, and marketing to ensure a successful partnership with key accounts
    • Work collaboratively with Project Management, Engineering, Back office, Product, and Product Operations to ensure efficient and timely technical integrations
    • Collaborate internally to create an interlock with Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to assist with cross-selling opportunities for key accounts
    • Collaborate with Marketing teams to facilitate go-to-market strategies, live service initiatives, and key marketing campaign executions aimed at driving revenue through repeat spending, effective revenue increments, and acquiring new users creatively.

Requirements:

    • At least 3 years in sales or account management roles;
    • Background in mobile gaming, preferably in operation and publishing departments
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated, eager, and possessing a self-learning mentality, ready to contribute to a high-growth business.
    • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
    • Excellent presentation skills
