- At least five years of experience working as a concept artist in the gaming or film industry
- Advanced drawing skills, great artistic taste, understanding of the design principles as well as composition basics, plastic anatomy, and the theory of light, and confident stylization skills
- Understanding of the specificities of 3D and limitations of the game engine and genre, ability to adapt to those conditions
- Ability to work in different styles
- Passion for games and knowledge of the gaming industry
- Profile portfolio required
Will come in handy:
- Knowledge of 3D packages for modeling, sculpting, and rendering.
- Education in Arts
Some points on tasks:
- Closely collaborating with the producer, other concept artists, and 3D artists to create high-quality designs that will determine the game's appearance
- Actively participating in brainstorms and ART Syncs, contributing to the art, narrative, and product sides of the project
- Working in collaboration with game designers to create concepts that best reflect the project's narrative
- Conducting compliance control of the chosen styles and the quality of the project's concept artists' work
- Developing unique visual designs and creating concept art of the characters and props for further 3D modeling
- Rendering atmospheric concept art of locations and environment objects
- Providing feedback on 3D models, effects, and animations based on created concepts for achieving the best results
- Supervising the final implementation of art in the game
- Developing art documentation
