Senior Creative Strategist

The Senior Creative Strategist will focus on growing the Automotive business, primarily across our LCS sales channel. They’ll partner with the sales team to build creative strategies, develop ad concepts and create campaign ideas that balance the needs of our advertising clients with the tastes of our audience. 

The day-to-day of the role will include brainstorming, writing concept pitches, responding to creative RFPs and inspiring auto brands / creative agencies with the power of creative on Reddit. 

The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of and appreciation for Reddit, understand how to operate in a creative business function (i.e. how to treat both sellers and clients like clients), thrive in a collaborative environment and have powerfully persuasive written and verbal communication skills. They should have previous experience working with auto brands and express excitement about the creative possibilities these brands offer. 

Reddit is still very much in growth-mode, so this candidate should be agile and be able to confidently navigate a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.

We’re looking for someone who approaches the role in a proactive, excited, and collaborative nature…This role isn’t a ‘call and response’ type of position, but rather a chance for a creative and business-minded individual to build out ‘what good looks like’ for auto clients at Reddit.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in advertising, PR, media, and/or social media–platform experience.   
• Experience working in partnership with Sales teams.
• Experience pitching concepts to clients virtually and IRL.
• Experience writing professionally for internet–blogs, articles, and social media. 
• Proven understanding of the relationship between creative agencies, media agencies & brands.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.   
• Proficient in Google Slides.
• Portfolio of previous work.     

Bonus:

• Creative Strategy experience at a social media platform. 
• Previous experience working on auto clients. 
• Media (integrated marketing or creative strategy) and/or creative agency experience.
