Senior Data Analyst

What You Will Do

• Analyze our complex and ever-growing data, present insights, and propose strategic options to senior management to drive business decisions.
• Explore customer behaviour thoroughly by extracting various data available within the platform, then collaborate with team members to brainstorm hypotheses to various strategic questions
• Test and validate your own hypothesis by doing growth experiments, utilizing various growth-related tools and automations
• Work alongside teams, such as data, marketing and product to execute growth experiments and campaigns
• Ensure Gopay Pinjam’s discoverability in the market by managing and analyze the effectiveness of in-app communications & entry points, as well as exploring other possible growth levers

What You Will Need

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst supporting business or finance-related functions, business intelligence or growth analyst
• Proficiency in SQL and other analytics tool, such as spreadsheet, Python/R is a must
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Experience in doing customer analysis and growth experiments is a major plus
• Strong project management skill to manage complex projects; also can manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of driving results and delivering on commitments.
• Passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst in Gopay Pinjam, your role will be critical in helping to grow our Consumer Lending product within Gojek & Gopay Platform. In addition to driving data & analytics-related initiatives, this role will also develop your business acumen by learning how to bridge between data and business execution. You will work together within the team to create hypotheses related to user growth, analyze data in creative ways, test those hypotheses directly to our user base, and generate insights to drive up the business metrics. You will also be expected to liaise with other teams, such as marketing, product, data engineers, etc in order to execute growth experiments, promotional campaigns and manage the visibility of Gopay Pinjam in Gojek & Gopay App.
