EA seeks a Senior Finance Planning and Analysis Manager to partner with their Fan Growth team. Responsibilities include leading financial planning and analysis processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis), collaborating across EA to provide strategic insights, developing financial models, presenting to senior leadership, and managing a team of two finance professionals. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, 8+ years of FP&A experience, strong financial modeling skills, expertise with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and excellent communication abilities. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the office.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team! As part of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you are a strategic Finance partner to our Fan Growth team within EA Experiences. Working with teams, you will seek to understand and evolve strategies, analyze data, and deliver insights to guide EA’s performance. Working in a hybrid role, defined as 3+ days in office, you will lead a team of two and their groups, and will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Collaborate with teams across EA to provide strategic insights.

  • Develop financial models to support business decision-making.

  • Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Manage a team of 2 finance professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field.

  • Accomplished in financial modeling and data analysis tools.

  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience leading and developing teams.

  • Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of audiences.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $126,000 - $176,300 CAD

California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) $138,200 - $219,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
