We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support NVIDIA’s Israeli research and development (R&D) organization. As part of NVIDIA’s FP&A organization, your responsibilities will be to support key financial activities, including forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic decision-making. R&D is one of the largest organizations at NVIDIA. As an integral member of the FP&A team, you will provide the highest caliber of relevant financial and business information that is both informative and practical, enabling effective decision making at all levels to improve our Company’s financial performance. This is a highly visible role for an energetic professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication skills.
What you’ll be doing:
Support R&D financial planning by collaborating with key partners to manage OPEX and CAPEX investments for Hardware organizations in Israel and abroad.
Analyse key cost drivers, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and tracking project priorities to support data-driven business decisions.
Build a foundational understanding of NVIDIA’s products and roadmap, supporting the development of financial models to forecast pre-production investment needs and enhance key business metrics.
Review, analyze and challenge purchase requisitions from various R&D groups to ensure forecast alignment and financial accuracy.
Forecast Engineering investments, inventory, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and cash flow, ensuring variance risks and opportunities are continuously monitored.
Support Corporate Finance and Accounting in the periodic close process by ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and financial reporting is thorough.
Collaborate with R&D teams and cross-functional partners to generate insightful business analysis and offer clear financial access to key engineering activities.
Contribute to operational improvements that enhance efficiency, forecast accuracy, and business insight capabilities.
What we need to see:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics from a recognized or accredited institution.
5+ years of experience in Finance, with a focus on business financial planning, analysis, modeling, and forecasting. Experience supporting an Engineering organization for a global, high-tech corporation is an advantage.
Familiarity with industry technology, cost structure, and market dynamics in areas directly related to NVIDIA’s products, research, and development.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling techniques, with the ability to build and communicate business insights. Familiarity with SAP is helpful for the role.
Comfort working with large datasets from various sources and providing significant analyses.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering accurate results within deadlines.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Demonstrates strong business judgment with a strategic approach, effective planning skills, and emphasis on achieving goals.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance partners in a clear and actionable manner.
Experience with SAP.
