Job Description

Senior Full-Stack Developer needed for a project with a leading financial institution. This is a 100% hands-on role involving front-tier risk calculation and management system integration. Responsibilities include understanding business requirements, creating technical backlog stories, collaborating within a diverse team, contributing to sprint backlog and story writing/grooming, and working in an Agile environment. The tech stack utilizes Kafka, Java, Kubernetes, Angular, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate possesses strong Java programming skills, experience with testing methodologies (unit tests, code coverage analysis), and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Experience with SQL Server and Hazelcast is also required.

Must have:

6+ years Java experience
Angular & TypeScript proficiency
Testing methodologies & unit tests
Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD
SQL Server knowledge
Hazelcast experience

Good to have:

RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server)
Linux tooling & scripting
Ansible
API Security patterns

Our client is one of leaders in Financial Market and looking for strengthening its front-tier risk calculation and management. It involves a lot of different sub-systems to get integrated and make them working as the one meeting high quality standards including performance and robustness. Technology stack we are targeting at is Kafka, Java, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

100% hands-on role.

Able to understand business requirements & make technical backlog stories for self & others.

Work in team, where everyone has different technical skills. Hence open to listening ideas & explain your ideas.

Understand business need and contribute to sprint backlog, stories writing/grooming.

Agile based development cycle

Skills

Must have

6+ years of experience

Proficient in Java programming

Experience using Angular and TypeScript

Good knowledge of testing methodologies. Can write unit tests for unfamiliar code, analyze code coverage, and analyze failing test cases.

Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

Experience in SQL Server

Hazelcast

Unit tests & Integration tests, using JUnit/Mockito

Nice to have

Knowledge of RDBMS architectures and database tooling, especially for Oracle or SQL Server

Basic Linux tooling and administration: package installation and tooling, shell scripting, managing file systems

Knowledge of Ansible

Basic understanding & use of API Security patterns
