We are seeking a talented individual to join our award-winning Legal team as a Senior Legal Counsel in our London, Ljubljana or Malta office. Your Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, such as software licenses, SaaS agreements, professional services contracts, end-user terms, website terms, IP licenses, data processing and content supply agreements. 
  • Implement and manage contract administration processes, ensuring conformity and efficient execution.
  • Stay updated on regulatory and compliance changes in the gaming sector, conduct thorough legal research, and provide commercially focused guidance.
  • Address legal matters in various areas, including data protection, IP, corporate law, employment, and dispute resolution as needed.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to internal and external stakeholders on legal and commercial risks.
  • Develop and maintain legal policies, best legal practices, and case studies to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and business.
  • Assist in tracking the performance of junior legal team members, providing guidance, allocating tasks, and conducting appraisals.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years post-qualification experience as a commercial/media/IP lawyer in a leading law firm or in-house in the gaming, technology, digital media, or entertainment industry.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Law.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing legal risks and complex commercial legal matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in M&A transactions and AI is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.
