Senior QA with Kubernetes

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior AQA with Kubernetes to join our growing team. This role will primarily involve automating CI/CD pipelines and enhancing DevOps practices for a major Business Unit (BU) within the company, focusing on the Payment Services platform. As a Senior AQA, you will be partnering with the development team to fully automate processes within Azure DevOps, helping solve complex system problems, and improving the overall workflow efficiency using Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and cutting-edge automation tools. Please note: you must have at least 6+ years of experience as AQA and strong expertise with CI/CD pipelines, micro services, Kubernetes in Azure cloud to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhancing DevOps practices across the organization.

• Lead automation efforts for system processes, primarily for the Payment Services platform, focusing on Azure DevOps and related tools.

• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters in Azure Cloud to support microservices architecture.

• Use QA automation tools to create and manage test scripts, ensuring quality control and continuous delivery.

• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, particularly focusing on RPA tools (such as Bacpac and Power Automate) and infrastructure automation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the system and application stacks, ensuring the health and scalability of cloud-based applications.

• Assist in expanding automated deployment processes across multiple teams, helping them to integrate CI/CD into their workflows effectively.

• Participate in system design reviews and contribute expertise on infrastructure and automation best practices.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Testing

• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines with a strong background in automation using Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in an Azure Cloud environment, specifically related to deploying and managing microservices.

• Solid understanding of QA automation, particularly with RPA tools such as Bacpac and Power Automate.

• Strong experience in Linux and familiarity with system administration tasks in cloud-based environments.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including but not limited to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and monitoring.

• Experience with microservices architecture and deploying applications in the cloud.

• Experience in payment services or financial technology (FinTech).

• Advanced knowledge of scripting and programming languages like Python, Shell scripting, or Terraform.

• Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration beyond Kubernetes (e.g., Docker, Helm).

• Experience in agile methodologies and working in an agile team environment.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Great attention to detail.

• Have solid written and verbal English skills.

• Initiative and drive to do great things.
