Job Description
The Senior Rust Developer will be at the forefront of conceiving, designing, and implementing software applications. The role involves close collaboration with multifaceted teams to create robust and efficient solutions, advancing the developer's career and working on innovation-driving projects. Responsibilities include integrating user-facing and server-side components, building reusable code and libraries, optimizing app performance, implementing security measures, reviewing codebases, designing data storage solutions, and deploying tested code. The job also entails experience with AWS, building and consuming RESTful services, and ideally familiarity with AI tools or frameworks such as Cursor, Windsurf, and AWS Bedrock.
Must have:
- Integrate user-facing and server-side components.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize app performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Review, refactor, and maintain codebases.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Deploy code that is tested and validated prior to QA.
- 5+ years of experience with Rust.
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
- Proficient in working with TypeScript and JavaScript code bases.
- Proficient with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Cursor.
- Experience with Windsurf.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock.
Good to have:
- Other back-end languages or frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and Node.js
- Experience in the implementation of event streaming services like Apache Kafka
- Experience in backend frameworks like Rocket or Actix
- Experience with JS frameworks such as react, vue, etc

- Proficient with one or more of the major relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), including experience in custom indexing and schema design to optimize query performance
- Proficiency in English (B2)
- Experience with Cursor
- Experience with Windsurf
- Experience with AWS Bedrock
