Job Description

As a Senior Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, you'll be a key technical expert assisting customers in adopting NVIDIA's full-stack technologies for autonomous vehicles and robotics. Responsibilities include engaging with customers to scope and develop solutions for training AI models, simulations, and testing; partnering with sales and engineering teams; developing a deep understanding of customer workflows; leading proof-of-concept evaluations; providing technical mentorship; developing and demonstrating solutions; performing model optimization; and creating technical collateral. You'll work with platforms like Isaac Sim, Omniverse, and Cosmos, and leverage your expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and robotics systems.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years AV/Robotics experience
  • Python/C++ coding proficiency
  • DevOps experience (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of AV/Robotics systems
  • DL/RL algorithm experience
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse/Isaac Sim
  • Experience with 3D workflows (Unity, Unreal Engine)
  • Proficiency in ROS/ROS2
  • Experience deploying ML/DL models at scale

Job Details

NVIDIA is building the world’s leading AI company, and we are looking for an expert AV and Robotics Solutions Architect to help assist customers with adoption of NVIDIA's full-stack technologies. We also build and deploy solutions around Generative AI, Physical AI, and other related GPU-accelerated technologies in which intelligent machines can learn, reason, and interact with the world. As part of the Automotive Solutions Architecture team, we work with some of the most innovative accelerated computing platforms focused on the development and test of Autonomous Vehicles and Robots. A Solutions Architect is the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our Auto customers so you will engage directly with developers, researchers, and data scientists with some the most strategic customers as well as work directly with business and engineering teams on product strategy as it pertains to these customers. What you'll be doing:

  • Engage with customers to help them scope and develop solutions for training AV and Robotics perception and policy models, simulations, synthetic data generation, software in the loop testing, AI enhanced manipulation and navigation workflows using NVIDIA's Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Cosmos, and other relevant platforms.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product and other Solution Architect teams to drive NVIDIA full stack adoption. Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and requirements, lead proof-of-concepts evaluations and provide internal feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
  • Share domain expertise with the NVIDIA solutions architect community and stay updated on advancements in AV, Robotics, Physical AI, and Gen AI.
  • Provide technical mentorship to partners and customers.
  • Develop and demonstrate solutions based on NVIDIA’s groundbreaking software and hardware technologies to customers.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of state-of-the art AI models to ensure the best performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
  • Build collateral (notebooks, github repos, demos, etc.) applied to workflows such as AV and Robotics model training and validations, LLMs, VFMs, video encoding/decoding, etc.

What we need to see:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field..
  • 5+ years of hands-on validated proven experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, or, Physical AI.
  • Experience writing production codes in Python, or C++ and proficiency with Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of AV and Robotics systems (Sensors, dynamics, perception, prediction, planning, control).
  • Experience with DL and RL algorithms, standards such as OpenAI Gym, and frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Ability to communicate your ideas/code clearly through blog posts, GitHub, ppt.
  • Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations (engineering/research, product, sales and marketing teams).
  • Effective verbal/written communication, and technical presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a vision for growth, real passion for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab and with relevant data formats like OpenUSD and URDF
  • Familiarity with one or more 3D workflows and tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender) or Robotics Simulation frameworks (e.g., NVIDIA PhysX and Isaac SIM, Gazebo, MuJoCo, etc.).
  • Proficiency in robotics software frameworks like ROS/ROS2.
  • Skilled in deploying ML/DL models at scale on cloud computing clusters with GPUs.
  • Development experience with NVIDIA software libraries and GPUs, and profiling.

The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
