Senior UE4 Technical Artist role focusing on photorealism, shader creation, lighting pipeline optimization, and asset creation. Must have strong UE4 expertise, 3D workflow knowledge, and plugin/tool customization experience.
IMERZA is seeking a talented Senior UE4 Technical Artist / Technical Director to lend their significant industry experience and artistic versatility to a variety of technical art tasks. They will be responsible for collaborating with the art team to push the look and feel of our projects to help take our projects to the next level of photorealism.

Responsibilities Will Include
Creating advanced shaders and materials
Iterate and improve our dynamic lighting pipeline
Optimizing performance on all projects
Pioneers new asset creation techniques for environment assets
Proposes pipeline and technology improvements to Art and Core Pipeline
Collaborate with and support the environment team.
Keeps up with current technologies used in and by various game engines

Required
Expert knowledge in UE4 rendering and optimizations
Technical proficiency in 3D workflow areas like modeling, texturing, lighting & rendering
Experience writing plugins/customizing 3D tools like Maya/3DS Max
Advanced knowledge of cutting-edge content creation pipelines
Experience with Oculus Rift/Quest and other VR Platforms
Experience in Substance Designer/Painter, Houdini, and procedural content creation
A basic understanding of Python and photography is a plus

Past experience working in CG for AEC or Enterprise related industries
