Job Description
Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to contribute to their Google Ads and YouTube Ads teams. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software. Responsibilities include managing project priorities and deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in software development (C++, Python, SQL), data structures and algorithms, data analysis, statistical modeling, and mathematical optimization. Experience with accessible technologies and a proven ability to solve open-ended problems are also essential. The role requires collaboration across teams and working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, probabilistic modeling and visualization.
- Experience with Mathematical Optimization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
- Experience coding in Python and SQL and developing accessible technologies.
- Experience ads business high velocity in producing analysis results, design docs, and code. Strong research skills to identify and solve open-ended problems.
- Ability to grow in ambiguity and be comfortable working through cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent investigative, research and quantitative thinking skills to identify and solve open ended problems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
