** This role sits out of our Burbank, CA, offices, and this person is required to be on-site 4 days/week.**
Role Summary
The Specialist, Credit, Title & Rating Administration provides support to the team on all aspects of the credits processes for various banners at The Walt Disney Studios, with a primary focus on supporting Disney Live Action, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures theatrical and streaming releases.
Responsibilities
Assist with managing the credits process on assigned productions with supervision.
Prepare, proof, and approve on-screen credits (main titles and end titles)
Prepare paid advertising memos and billing blocks
Review and approve print and audio/visual marketing materials (e.g., one sheets, trailers, TV spots), promotional items, publicity releases, press notes and awards campaign materials for contractual, MPA rating and guild compliance
Collaborate with teammates and internal and external stakeholders throughout the credits process
Liaise with unions and guilds, fulfilling documentation needed for credits approvals, arbitrations or other legal matters
Conduct research on credits matters as needed
Manage or assist with other department projects as needed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3+ years of legal or professional work experience
Minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience in credits, titles, and ratings, or equivalent entertainment industry experience
Strong analytical, organization, time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task and prioritize deadlines and deliverables
Excellent reading comprehension and written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional proofreading skills
Ability or eagerness to learn how to read and interpret legal contracts and guild basic agreements in regard to credits policies, practices and procedures
A passion for film and a desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) and databases (e.g., Scenechronize)
Familiarity with film production and post-production processes
Prior work experience at a major studio, guild/union, law firm or other fast-paced corporate environment
