As a Software Engineer in the ISP IQ, Pixel Camera team, you will contribute to developing next-generation mobile camera solutions. Responsibilities include developing camera tuning software infrastructure (image processing simulator, device-identical verification framework), maintaining scalable cross-platform servers and services for image processing, automating processes for data validation and tuning workflow efficiency, and collaborating with architecture, software, and image quality teams to meet quality targets and commercialize products. You'll work with global teams to launch efficient software and hardware Image Signal Processor (ISP) solutions, ensuring optimal image quality for Pixel cameras. This role requires experience in software development (C++, Python), image processing, and computer vision.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years software development (C++, Python)
  • Develop camera tuning software infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain scalable servers and services
  • Automate processes for efficient workflow
Good to have:
  • Master's/PhD in CS/EE
  • Image processing, computer vision experience
  • Imaging tuning and technology experience
  • Understanding of image quality metrics and imaging hardware

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C++,Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or PHD’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in image processing, computer vision, and computational photography development.
  • Experience with imaging tuning related development and technology.
  • Understanding of image quality metrics.
  • Understanding of imaging hardware, image signal processing and post-processing imaging algorithms.

As part of the Image Signal ProcessorIQ software team, you will work with global talents to launch scalable and efficient software and hardware Image Signal Processor (Image Signal Processing) solutions and ensure the best mobile IQ (Image Quality) for Pixel Camera.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the camera tuning software infrastructure, including image processing simulator and device-identical image verification framework.
  • Develop and maintain scalable cross-platform servers and services to serve different image processing purposes in good quantity and quality.
  • Develop automatic processes to improve data validation coverage and make the tuning workflow more efficient. 
  • Work with the Architecture, Software, Image Quality, Tuning teams to develop solutions to achieve quality targets and commercialize real products.
