Job Description

As a Software Engineer, Platform Security, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing automated security test infrastructure and specific tests to ensure correct and sufficient implementation of security controls for hardware platforms. You will also develop and refine threat models, risk assessments, and define security requirements for hardware products entering Google’s data centers. You will provide subject matter expertise to teams designing and developing the next generation data center hardware. You will scope and deliver comprehensive security reviews of hardware/firmware components.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with C++ coding language
Experience debugging issues relating to hardware, test setup, firmware, and software

Good to have:

Interest and experience in all aspects of computer and network security entire lifecycle from programming, operations, use (including user experience).

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with C++ coding language.

and software.
