OpenText Exstream is a customer communications management (CCM) software platform that helps organizations create personalized, compliant communications to deliver consistent customer experiences. It's part of the OpenText Experience Suite Platform, which also includes solutions for digital asset management and web content management.
What The Role Offers
Performs highly complex testing and leadership tasks on complex projects:
- Plans, schedules and implements testing projects.
- Acts as testing focal for major testing project.
- Defines test objectives.
- Writes test cases.
- Assists other analysts with approach and technical issues.
- Performs complex functional, application, regression and performance tests.
Assists product developers and technical product support specialists in solution of complex installation problems.
Plans and implements automated testing.
Actively involved with the creation of and maintenance of lab environments.
Actively involved with special projects.
Reviews and authors technical documentation.
Researches and implements new testing tools and strategies throughout the group.
Researches and develops an understanding of the marketing requirements for the product, including how the product is actually used and what its performance requirements are.
Attends seminars/classes and conventions to keep abreast with emerging technologies.
Other related duties as appropriate and required by your supervisor.
What Will You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor degree or better in Engineering Sciences or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 6 - 8 years’ product testing, development, research or support experience necessary.
- Must have a current working knowledge and experience with IP Telephony Systems and PBX’s in Development or Production environments.
- Current working knowledge and/or testing of Windows Servers Operating systems, TFTP and FTP services.
- Working knowledge and experience with Switches, Routers and Networks.
- Highly proficient testing skills necessary.
- Ability to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules.
- Effective written and spoken communication skills necessary.
- Working knowledge and/or testing with virtualization (VMWare of similar technologies).
- Thorough knowledge of PC's and Windows networking.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex setup and configuration on Windows based computers.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
