Sales and marketing support is provided at a global scale and includes a wide range of channels and businesses: Travel Agencies Sales, Tour Operators, Online Travel Agencies, Ticket resellers, Airlines, Central Florida Sales, Southern California Ticket Sales, Meetings & Conventions, Imagination Campus, Fairy Tale Weddings, and more.
Come join this outstanding team of Sales professionals! As a Sr Sales Manager with Disney Destinations, you will lead the distribution and sales strategy to drive business from Latin America, through contracted third-party wholesalers.
This is a full-time position.
This person will report to the Head of Sales & Travel Industry Marketing.
Responsible for Sales Strategy development, along with driving business results, to support Disney Parks (Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line growth in Latin America, building plans accordingly
Forecast client’s results and determine the best support mix to drive the market
Apply a commercial mentality to the market, analyzing trends and finding opportunities beyond the core clients (ex. dedicated offers, short/long term offerings, incentives)
Provide timely and consistent communication to Sales and Marketing Director regarding client performance (past and future outlook) and market trends (current and future outlook of the market), and key sales initiatives
Proactively identify business or financial concerns with clients, so they can be promptly addressed
Lead negotiations of co-operative marketing programs supporting Disney Parks, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line
Prospect new businesses (through existing or new clients) that will result in increased profitability for the company
Develop current and new key relationships with airlines, key organizations, consulates, industry experts, travel influencers, etc.
Work closely, as one coordinated team, with Client Solutions Managers and Trade Marketing Managers
Be a product expert for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line
Be an authority of the travel industry in Latin American
Engage Client Solutions Managers to solve for client’s operational needs, including technology, finance, ticketing, revenue management, etc.
Engage Training Managers to provide sales training to clients and travel agents in-market and on-site
Develop and maintain internal relationships throughout the Disney organization, and identify alliance opportunities within the various departments
Ensure tactics are on strategy and within the scope designated by business unit
At least five years of proven experience in Sales
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Solid understanding of Latin American markets
Demonstrated business sense and ability to integrate and connect information across multiple functional lines of businesses
Demonstrated experience building strategic plans and strategic relationships
Ability to provide training through presentations to small, medium, and large audiences
Demonstrated ability to encourage, drive passion and teamwork, with a dedication to excellence
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent
Master's of Business Administration
