This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity for major brands, driving creative direction, and contributing to impactful design solutions across a variety of industries.

This role is HYBRID in New York.

About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Visual Designer, you will lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft compelling visual identities, brand systems, and creative concepts. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs align with business goals, user needs, and brand strategies. With a strong emphasis on creativity and innovation, this opportunity will allow you to contribute to strategic design work across a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design projects by understanding business goals, target audiences, and creative briefs, collaborating with clients and colleagues to align on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Research and synthesize information from various sources, ensuring design solutions are informed and relevant.
  • Develop innovative design concepts that reflect client brands and strategies, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Contribute to the creation of strategy documents, pitch presentations, and other operational materials with strong design elements.
  • Present and communicate ideas and design concepts effectively in internal and client meetings, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of visual designs for marketing campaigns, brand collateral, and other visual assets.
  • Define and evolve client brand systems, ensuring consistency across touchpoints and adapting them for various platforms and mediums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, content, delivery, and technology, to ensure seamless execution of design solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in design, including leading projects in an agency or in-house environment.
  • Strong background in branding, campaign design, and visual identity systems.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Proven experience in leading ideation sessions, discovery processes, and design workshops with clients and teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design decisions and facilitate feedback loops.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience extending brand guidelines for use across new media and digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with motion design, interaction design, data visualizations, and/or infographics is a plus.
  • A portfolio that showcases your creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and successfully launched design work.
  • A self-motivated and flexible approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
