Scopely is seeking a Sr Unreal Engine Lighting Artist to join our Marketing team Flamed in Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis. You will be responsible for creating lighting setups for characters, environments, assets, and cinematic scenes within Unreal Engine. You will also be creating high-end renders for marketing assets and animations. Working closely with the 3D team, you will ensure high-quality lighting and rendering, optimizing lighting workflows to meet project deadlines. Your exceptional artistic eye and understanding of color, contrast, aesthetics, lighting principles, and image analysis will be key to adapting to different styles and successfully following Art Direction.
Must have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in lighting for games or cinematics.
  • High proficiency in Unreal Engine.
  • Exceptional artistic eye and understanding of color, contrast, aesthetics, lighting principles and image analysis.
  • Knowledge of rendering techniques and workflows.
  • Understanding of PBR Materials and textures creation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

What You Will Do

We are in the early stages of developing an exciting and action-packed game. As a Lighting Artist, you will create lighting setups for characters, environments, assets, and cinematic scenes within Unreal Engine.
  • Create lighting setups for 3D characters, environments, and marketing cinematics in Unreal Engine.
  • Create high-end renders for marketing assets and animations.
  • Work closely with the 3D team to ensure high-quality lighting and rendering.
  • Optimize lighting workflows to meet project deadlines.
  • Adapting to different styles in order to successfully follow Art Direction.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in lighting for games or cinematics.
  • High proficiency in Unreal Engine.
  • An exceptional artistic eye and understanding of color, contrast, aesthetics, lighting principles and image analysis.
  • Knowledge of rendering techniques and workflows.
