The Supply Chain Director will balance demand and supply at the site level, ensuring on-time customer delivery, inventory optimization, and overall cost reduction. Responsibilities include managing demand through order entry and forecasting, implementing and controlling Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) processes, overseeing warehousing and distribution, managing inventory, and controlling costs. The role involves leading QRQC logistics, defining budgets, and proposing investments, as well as supervising the procurement unit and ensuring adherence to supply chain standards.
Must have:
  • University or Master's degree in relevant field

Position Summary:

The Plant Supply Chain Manager balances Demand and Supply at Site level and ensures

  • Customer On Time Delivery

  • Inventory optimization

  • Overall associated cost reduction and optimization

Major Responsibilities:

Demand Management

  • Ensure Customer orders are timely entered in ERP and acknowledged to customers

  • Ensure Firm Orders, tenders and forecasts are consolidated to provide a complete site Demand picture

Planning

  • Implement and Control the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Process

  • Implement and Control the Master Production Schedule (MPS) Process

  • Implement and Control the Material Requirement Planning calculation and parameters

  • Monitor and control Material Planning delivery performance

  • Participate to Project Gate Review (APQP) to ensure Customer Projects are timely produced and delivered

Warehousing and Distribution

  • Responsible for inbound and outbound flows on site

  • Ensure the inbound, storage, preparation, collection of finished goods and shipment to customers are managed according to standards, product technical datasheets and/or Project Specifications

  • Responsible for the Logistics Suppliers’ management

  • Ensure EHS standards are applied

  • Ensure housekeeping in all areas under his responsibility

Inventory Management & Control

  • Accountable for Gross and Net inventory value

  • Define and apply plant inventory Policy

  • Ensure inventory reliability according to corporate targets

  • Prepare Monthly Inventory Forecast

  • Analyze past month inventory results

  • Identify and implement action plan to improve accuracy and meet inventory targets

Performance Management

  • Conduct analysis and develop action plan

  • Lead QRQC Logistics

Costs control

  • Define and control the annual Budget

  • Propose investments

  • Provide inputs for Logistics costing of customer bids when applicable

  • Propose optimization opportunities

Other

  • Oversees, supervises and manage the work and activities of the Procurement unit

  • Assists senior staff members in the development of long and short-term planning, policies, programs and objectives.

  • Еstablishes procedures for maintaining high standards of supply chain management

  • Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending

  • Monitor and Control Material Planning Delivery Performance.

  • Make sure with the suppliers needed quantity timely produced and delivered on time.

  • All other enlargement or reduction of activities in the future as per business development or organizational needs and/or as per solely decision of Top Management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: University or Master degree in Economy, Engineering, Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, other education with appropriate training or experience.

Advantage: min. 5 year related work experience. English language working proficiency.
