We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented Events Specialist to support the planning, executing, and optimizing marketing events across the Americas region. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to grow their experience in B2B event marketing while contributing to high-impact initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams, coordinate logistics, and support the execution of both in-person and virtual events, such as trade shows, webinars, and customer roundtables. You’ll also assist in managing event communications, promotions, post-event follow-up processes, and the Milestone swag store. This position offers exposure to the full event lifecycle and a chance to learn marketing automation and CRM platforms in a supportive and fast-paced environment. This position will join our Regional Marketing Americas team and will report to our Head of Regional Marketing Americas and work closely with our Senior Events Manager.
The Events Specialist will work a hybrid schedule out of our Americas Headquarters in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Key roles & responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating marketing events, including trade shows, meetups, webinars, and partner events across the Americas region.
- Work with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics and setup.
- Conduct pre/post event meetings with key stakeholders and attendees to align goals and optimize follow-ups.
- Support on-site event operations as needed, including registration, setup, and attendee engagement.
- Help create and update event project plans, timelines, and task lists, manage and monitor event request form submissions, and event activity tracker.
- Support Event Manager on budget management – ensuring events under this role’s direct ownership are managed to budget with carefully planned and tracked expenses and resource allocation.
- Create and maintain event campaign document for each event that includes goals, objectives, and promotional plans
- Assist global digital marketing team with pre/post promotional campaigns, including email invites, landing pages, surveys, and social media support.
- Support global digital marketing in lead list clean up and lead list loading into CRM post event to ensure speedy follow up and optimized results
- Performance tracking – Work closely with global digital marketing to monitor and report on results from event marketing efforts, recommend opportunities for improvement, and evaluate future participation.
- Ensure events adhere to brand guidelines and deliver a consistent customer experience.
- Manage the company’s swag store, including ordering, inventory tracking, fulfillment coordination, and budget monitoring.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align swag offerings with brand initiatives and event needs.
- Support the use of marketing tools such as event platforms, lead capture systems, marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot or Pardot), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Utilize project management solution (Wrike and/or Microsoft Planner or similar tool) to help ensure deadlines are adhered to and to track project status
- Leverage Power BI and SFDC reports to monitor and report on event metrics and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager and Sales teams to align event goals with business objectives.
- Collaborate with global marketing to ensure consistency across campaigns and share learnings.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $63,757 to $74,914, with most candidates falling in the $67,193 to $70,274 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone's total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
