Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience managing technology projects from evaluation to design and execution.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 2 years of experience as a people manager leading a virtual or a global team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • 15 years of experience with security systems infrastructure projects and deployment management with 10 years of Program Management experience.
  • 4 years of experience in program strategy development and execution.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple, simultaneous security systems projects, with competing resources and priorities, to successful delivery and completion.
  • Ability to grow in an ambiguous and fluid environment while working both independently and as a team on multiple initiatives and stand-alone projects with limited direction from upper management.
  • Excellent communication and data driven skills.

In this role, you will need to have a experience in security systems, Program Manager experience and experience in security operations.You will manage the Purchase Order (PO) process, invoice approval, forecasting and budgetingFrom keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a global team of contract security systems consultants, project managers, security systems and installers.
  • Implement a variety of security technologies, utilizing industry and Google recommended practices, hardware/software, or risk frameworks.
  • Manage the Purchase Order (PO) process, invoice approval, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with a goal and create a platform for longer term objectives.
  • Manage programs, identify and implement process improvements for the larger group or organization, and exercise business and technical understanding to drive the organization’s long-term objectives. Generate the ideas required to solve a problem, and take full ownership.
