Job Description

The Test Tech 3 role involves performing functional tests on complex Ultrasound Systems and Field Upgrade PCA kits, following Philips Ultrasound Functional Acceptance Test Procedures. This role contributes to the assembly and test process, requiring understanding of all cells within respective roles. The technician should have proficiencies in both assembly and testing. Collaboration with various business groups within the System Operations organization will be required. This role offers the chance to work in a semi-fast paced, Lean manufacturing environment, with focus on communications. It involves maintaining miscellaneous operational tasks as assigned. It involves performing the processes while maintaining various miscellaneous operational tasks as assigned focused on upstream, downstream and cross shift communications.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in production test.
  • Technical skills with electronic assemblies and operating systems.
  • Understanding of troubleshooting of those systems.

Good to have:
  • Training in Lean Manufacturing and 6S training.

Job Description

554171 Production Test Technician 3 (Bothell, WA)

Perform functional tests on highly complex Ultrasound Systems and Field Upgrade PCA kits per Philips Ultrasound Functional Acceptance Test Procedures.

Your role:

  • This role contributes to the successful execution of our procedural and quality requirements for both the assembly and test process of our Ultrasound systems. 
  • The team consists of both assembly and test technician employees that are expected to fully understand all cells within their respective roles.  The test technician should have proficiencies in both.  We collaborate with various business groups within the System Operations organization to deliver quality imaging solutions to our end customer.  Our business represents the North American hub for Ultrasound Precision Diagnostics and the associated markets.
  • This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a team in a semi-fast paced, Lean manufacturing environment.  You will be trained to and performing the processes while maintaining various miscellaneous operational tasks as assigned focused on upstream, downstream and cross shift communications.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $24.27 - $38.83/hr

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. 

Additional Information

 US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
