Job Title: Game UI/UX Designer

Location: Remote

Job Type: Freelance/Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and creative Game UI/UX Designer to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall player experience. This role will involve close collaboration with our developers, artists, and designers to bring our game’s vision to life.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with the game’s art style and enhance the player experience.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts.

- Collaborate with the game development team to ensure UI designs are technically feasible and meet gameplay requirements.

- Develop in-game menus, HUDs, and other interactive elements that are visually cohesive and user-friendly.

- Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and improve the UI/UX design.

- Ensure consistent design language across all game screens and interactions.

- Stay updated with the latest trends in game UI/UX design and bring innovative ideas to the table.

- Should take responsibility in making the artwork blend with the game's art style.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the gaming industry or related fields.

- Should be familiar with cartoonish art style. (MUST)

- Strong portfolio showcasing your skills in game UI design, including menus, HUDs, and other game-related interfaces.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.

- Understanding of game design principles and the ability to create UI elements that enhance gameplay.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.

- Passion for games and an understanding of what makes an exceptional player experience.
