Overview

The Unity Game Developer plays a vital role in our organization by creating engaging and interactive game experiences for our users. They are responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining game applications, as well as collaborating with the design and development teams to ensure the seamless integration of game elements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement game features and functionality using Unity and C#.

Collaborate with the design team to create compelling and immersive game experiences.

Optimize game performance for various platforms and devices.

Debug and solve technical issues to ensure smooth gameplay.

Integrate 3D models, animations, and audio into the game environment.

Conduct testing to identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Stay updated with the latest Unity technologies and industry trends.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Work closely with artists and designers to ensure art assets are efficiently integrated into the game.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Document code and design decisions for future reference.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of game development processes.

Provide technical support during the game's lifecycle.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in Unity game development.

Proficiency in C# programming language.

Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics.

Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools, such as Blender or Maya.

Ability to optimize game performance for different platforms and devices.

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.

Excellent understanding of physics and mathematics for game development.

Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.

Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Passion for creating innovative and engaging gameplay experiences.

Proven ability to meet project deadlines and milestones.
