Job Description
Lanterns, an independent video game studio in Tunis, Tunisia, seeks a 2D/3D Generalist. This role involves editing and assembling video content, capturing original footage, and designing high-quality 2D/3D assets for various platforms. The generalist will also add sound design and visual effects, collaborate with creative and marketing teams, and optimize visuals. The position is for a passionate individual eager to contribute to compelling gameplay experiences and stories.
Must have:
- Edit and assemble impactful video content using gameplay footage, concept art, and 3D renders.
- Capture and record original video content using camera equipment when needed.
- Design and produce high-quality 2D/3D assets for trailers, social media, and in-game visuals.
- Add sound design, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and immersion.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, art, and marketing teams to align visuals with the studio’s narrative vision.
- Optimize both visual assets and videos for various platforms and formats.
- Carry out all other related tasks. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Good to have:
- Skills in motion graphics, basic animation, or VFX
- Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity)
- Knowledge of social media formats and content trends
- Curious, creative, and always willing to learn
