We’re looking for an AI Innovation Intern to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Principal HR AI Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Research AI tools and technologies to help create an AI plan for HR.
  • Use and test AI tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to create content, engage employees, and solve problems.
  • Lead engaging training sessions and discussions to help everyone learn about AI and get excited about using it.
  • Improve HR processes with AI, making them more efficient, cost-effective, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with the AI in HR Program Manager to ensure all projects align with Zscaler's Responsible AI principles.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Currently a rising sophomore or junior actively studying Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and enthusiasm for using AI to solve problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate solutions for usability, safety, and effectiveness.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to streamline workflows or solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining complex ideas to different audiences.
  • Knowledge of Responsible AI principles or HR technologies.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$25$50 USD
