Scopely is looking for a 3D Animator to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do
  • Produce animations for characters and 3D objects
  • Perform integrations directly in the engine
  • Update your tasks on the project management platform
  • Participate in project development dynamics, including brainstorms, story maps, syncs, all-hands meetings, and playtests
  • Collaborate with the creative team in brainstorms, ideations, storyboards, and/or animatics to illustrate ideas before production
  • Work with attention to detail in a constructive cross-feedback environment
  • Direct animation-driven advertisements

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 6 years of experience producing 3D animation for games for commercial purposes, with multiple released products
  • Proficiency in traditional animation concepts and 3D animation software
  • Understanding of advanced rigging techniques
  • Expertise in creating state machines for animation
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of the engine related to animation, such as compression, memory, and performance
  • Understanding of storytelling fundamentals such as composition, editing, and pacing
  • Ability to work efficiently in line with art direction without supervision
  • Proven track record of making assertive decisions that positively impact the final outcomes of projects
  • Interest and proficiency in technically implementing all aspects of animation in a game
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical feedback effectively
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between animation software and engines
  • Knowledge of scripting for process automation
  • Understanding of technical aspects related to the organization and optimization of pipelines and animation tools for new projects
