Blackpeak is seeking a Cross-team Editor (Associate level) to ensure consistent, high-quality English-language research reports. The role involves copyediting and working closely with researchers to shape research findings. The editor will be exposed to various risk-related projects across countries and industries and may manage multiple assignments. The company is a global financial technology firm with over 2,000 corporate clients and 800 banks using its solutions.
Must have:
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- At least 5 years of experience in reporting or editing financial news/research reports
- Strong analytical skills including critical thinking and problem-solving
- Flexibility to work in a multinational team
Good to have:
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism
- Experience in business intelligence, news publications, credit agencies, or city editors covering market intelligence
- Maturity to assist senior management in marketing and client relationship management
- Relevant experience in risk analysis, consulting, or qualitative research
- Proficient written and spoken Chinese

Job Details
The Role
Blackpeak is seeking a Cross-team Editor (Associate level) to be based in our Singapore or Hong Kong office.
- You would be primarily responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality English-language research reports as part of the group’s existing editorial team.
- While this position entails copyediting, you will also work closely with Blackpeak’s researchers throughout the report-writing process to help shape and order research findings.
- You will be exposed to a broad range of risk-related projects across countries and industries and may be required to manage multiple assignments on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- At least five years’ experience in reporting or editing financial news services or research reports
- A postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.
- Research editors/copy editors at business intelligence-focused organizations, news publications/magazines, credit agencies or city editors who have experience in covering market intelligence can also apply.
- Flexibility to work as a part of a multinational team across Blackpeak’s offices worldwide
- The maturity and skills required to assist Blackpeak’s senior management in marketing to clients and to manage client relationships, if needed
- Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking and problem solving abilities·
- Relevant experience in risk analysis, consulting and/or qualitative research considered a plus
- Candidates who possess proficient written and spoken Chinese will be preferred.
