The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will join the HR team at Lytx to support the mission of making roads safer. The role involves developing, implementing, and administering compensation and benefits programs in India, ensuring competitiveness and compliance. Responsibilities include market analysis, salary range management, benefits program administration, employee communication, vendor management, and process improvement. The analyst will be responsible for gathering market intelligence, analyzing trends, managing employee benefits, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws, and communicating benefits information effectively to employees. The analyst will also be in charge of vendor management and regional collaboration with global teams.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 5+ years C&B experience, preferably in compensation.
  • Knowledge of Indian compensation & benefits regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-driven team player.
Good to have:
  • Experience working with HRIS and compensation & benefits tools (e.g., Workday, Mercer, Radford).

About the job Lytx is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our HR team and support our mission of making the world’s roads safer. As a key member of the Total Rewards team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. The position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the India site compensation and benefits. This role requires a deep understanding of India's market trends, and best practices to ensure competitive, cost-effective, and compliant benefits offerings. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the location Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Center of Excellence (COE) by providing insights, ensuring alignment with global policies, and driving local execution. You’ll Get To

Compensation & Market Intelligence:

  • Gather local market intelligence and analyze salary and benefits trends to support recommendations.
  • Build and ensure competitive salary ranges and internal equity are in place.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to benchmark the company’s competitive position in the market.
  • Support the annual salary review process, ensuring salary adjustments conform to established guidelines.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on pay-for-performance strategies, salary structures, and benefits optimization.

Benefits Strategy & Administration:

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including but not limited to healthcare, insurance and retirement plans.
  • Ensure alignment of benefits programs with global and regional total rewards philosophy while balancing affordability and competitiveness.
  • Support and administer communicate benefits policies, features, and enrollment requirements, ensuring employees have a clear understanding of available offerings.
  • Analyze employee demographics, risk exposure, and cost containment strategies to recommend enhancements to benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all Indian labor laws (e.g., Provident Fund, Gratuity, ESIC) and adapt programs based on regulatory changes.

Employee Communication & Engagement:

  • Develop and manage employee FAQs, communication materials, and training sessions to improve benefits understanding and utilization.
  • Point of contact for employees and address inquiries related to compensation and benefits and ensure a positive employee experience.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party vendors, ensuring efficient claims processing and service quality.
  • Partner with Global benefits manager to ensure alignment between local benefits programs and global policies.
  • Enhance internal and external relationships, networking with industry peers and experts to stay updated on trends.

Process Improvement & Regional Collaboration:

  • Support annual compensation and benefits events, including the annual insurance benefits renewal.
  • Support the Base Pay planning process ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with global owners and organizational goals.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialized C&B experience, preferably in compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian compensation and benefits regulations and labor laws.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters to different audiences effectively.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Results-driven team player, who can function effectively and independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience working with HRIS and compensation & benefits tools (e.g., Workday, Mercer, Radford).
