What you will do

As a Senior Associate, you are responsible for executing and managing a specific stream of a broader project. This includes liaising with clients, working closely with your PwC project team and managing one or more junior consultants. You will contribute to a wide range of projects across various industries, helping our clients face their challenges.            

Your role comprises:

  • Analysis and insight: Analyse complex client issues and demonstrate expertise and understanding of functional and industry challenges.
  • Engagement delivery: Manage and deliver (part of) engagements, including (co-)leading the approach, liaising with stakeholders and managing your workload within the project
  • Relationship building: Foster strong relationships between PwC and the client's project team, have quality discussions with clients at various levels, demonstrate creativity combined with strong functional and industry knowledge
  • Communication: Structure, write and deliver presentations and other deliverables that will be shared both orally and in writing with internal and client leadership.
  • Business development: Build follow-up opportunities with clients and contribute to/lead proposals to support the development of client offerings
  • Team development: Provide professional development opportunities, coaching and feedback for junior team members
  • Firm development: Contribute to firm-wide activities, including internal knowledge management and sharing, to enhance our collective expertise and capabilities.

Who you are

Successful candidates will have a few years of relevant business experience, and the ability to meet the following criteria:

  • Strong academic background
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in one of the pillars listed below, gained directly from working in commercial positions or from relevant project work within a (strategy) consulting firm:
    • Pricing 

    • (Digital) growth strategy and transformation

    • Customer service

    • Sales and data-driven marketing

  • Insightful thinker, confident with concepts, analyses and frameworks
  • Energetic team player with an enthusiastic, positive, "can-do" attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with notable presence and confidence
  • Leadership qualities, project management skills, and people management and development skills
  • Ability to plan, structure and prepare client-ready work
  • Ability to work on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
  • Passionate about doing an outstanding job, both for the client and for PwC
  • Fluency in English and either Dutch or French, with a working knowledge of the other
